A Learning Journey is our unique way of showing parents how we assist the child along their path of development in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) program. It is a special booklet in which we as educators are able to collect evidence as the child develops. We do this through observing the child during activities throughout the term. Recording their progress and giving evidence to show parents that their child is evolving along the norms set out by the EYFS system.

At the end of the term there is an overall summary showing how the child has progressed in all seven areas of development, as well as “WOW” moments where the child has made a discovery or done something that enriches their personal journey. The teacher is also able to choose special art works to put into the learning journey to treasure and create keepsakes for the child and parent.
