Director's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Little Regent Nursery.

My name is Merlyn and as a mother of two children, as well as an experienced educator, I am highly aware of parents needs and wants from their children and more importantly from the holistic care that is given to their child in their absence.

Being an educator for more than a decade in primary, secondary and tertiary educational domains, I have had the invaluable opportunity to work with different ethnicity of children of varying age groups and professionals in the field of education; always learning something new to better myself, providing helpful insights into the different needs of children.

My multiple scholastic credentials namely, Masters in English Language and Masters Degree in Education with early years qualifications have passionately broadened my knowledge in child development (personal and social wellbeing), and their various learning styles.

Little Regent Nursery is not a mere brick and mortar institution but an innovative and revolutionary concept ushering in much awaited progressive and constructive approach in early years education and childcare. Children at Little Regent Nursery are encouraged to learn through play and we strongly believe that such an approach kindles love of learning and imagination among our children.  Our curriculum covers all the key areas of the early years foundation stage (EYFS) and is designed to meet the needs of each individual child. We relate Little Regent Nursery to a lovely garden – “Where Imagination Blooms”.

In the capacity of Little Regent Nursery Director, I’m eagerly anticipating the challenge of playing an integral part in your children’s future. Watching them work together and accomplish little goals set for them is the most rewarding and priceless feeling for me.

We passionately believe that every child and their family deserve to experience early years care and education at its very best. We will always remain dedicated to offering the most accommodating provision of childcare possible without compromising the child’s well-being or the quality of care. It is a privilege to be trusted with your most precious gift and I am really looking forward to getting to know you and your little ones!”. Childcare is a collaborative process where parental engagement is critically important and I’m looking forward to meeting the parents of all the children that we will serve and developing a positive close-knit relationship with every single one of you.
